Positive Post-It Day at VHE

Today, all classes participated in a school-wide movement called Positive Post-It Day.  On this day, students were asked to write positive comments to classmates, adults in the building, and to themselves.

It was a great way to build community as well as to celebrate and recognize all of the great things we do to support each other at Van Horne Elementary!

I enjoyed reading the comments each of the kiddos wrote to one another as well as some I received from staff and students.  It made me feel truly special to know someone cares enough to write to me, so I can't imagine what it felt like for our students!  :)
