On top of that, it is the very last day Van Horne Elementary will ever see kids within these four walls. A very bittersweet day, indeed.
I just wanted to take the time to thank each and every one of you for the support you've shown your child throughout the course of the year. It's been a great year and your child has learned and grown in so many ways! Looking back at pictures from the beginning of the year, they look so little! As the walked out the door for the last time today, it struck me how much like 2nd graders they truly look. Time truly does fly when you're having fun! :)
