A HUGE thank you goes out to you for coming in and participating in our first ever Parent Partnership Night. I hope it was relatively painless and that you gained some great tools to use with your child at home. A couple of reminders:
1. PLEASE take advantage of our Symbaloo page! It is really a time saver and a great resource as it has literally all of the websites we use here at school on one convenient page.
2. Top 5 Websites to try:
1. Raz Kids (This website is a reading website. Your child's level is pre-loaded based on his or her needs and current reading level. It's a great way for your child to practice reading and answering questions based on their reading. The texts can also be listened to!)
2. ScootPad (This is a place for your child to practice first grade skills in reading and math. It's all Common Core aligned, which means it's top of the line!)
3. Sumdog (This website is very game-oriented and focuses on math skills. It will self-adjust to your child's current skill level in math)
4. Pearson SuccessNet (This is a great home connection to our math curriculum. Your child can go back to review concepts or work ahead!)
5. BookFlix and TrueFlix (Free online stories!)
