Socktober Update

Socktober has come to an end.  With your support, we collected close to 900 PAIRS OF SOCKS!!!

These socks were donated to the Madge Phillips Center in Cedar Rapids and will be distributed to women and children who need them this winter.  The children discussed this with Mrs. Bishop, who showed them a virtual tour of the center.

Thank you for all your support throughout this project.  I hope this is something your child will remember for a long time to come, and will continue paying it forward to help others.

Here is a link to our Socktober video we created as part of our project.  The grins I saw from our first graders as it "premiered" truly made my heart sing.  They were SO PROUD of their work!
