Scenes from Washington & Lincoln Presentation Day!

The kids worked very hard on their projects to prepare for our special day.  Below are a few photos taken during worktime:

Thank you so much for coming to be a part of our Washington & Lincoln Presentation Day!  If you were unable to make it, no worries!  Check out the images below of some of the projects the students completed.  I tried my best to capture the goings-on today!

We participated in a virtual field trip with a staff member at Mount Vernon, Washington's home in Virginia.  He was playing the part of Washington's doctor, Dr. James Craik, and stayed in character the whole time while talking with us about Washington's pets, favorite foods, and other details of his life and what life was like living at the Mount Vernon Plantation.  The kiddos were also able to ask questions, and did a fantastic job!  We learned a lot about George Washington and it was incredibly interesting to interact with the staff!

Have a great weekend!
