Bloomsbury Farm
This Friday, October 24th, we will be going on our annual trip to Bloomsbury Farm. The kiddos look forward to this trip all year. It sounds like we'll have some GREAT October weather this year, which is a plus! Please make sure to dress your child in layers and appropriate footwear for lots of walking (plus socks for the jumping pillow and corn box!) He or she will also need a sack lunch with a drink included. If there is something which needs refrigerated, please include an ice pack as we will not have coolers available.
Halloween Costume Parade and Classroom Party
Next Friday, October 31st, we will be having our VHE costume parade and classroom parties. Costumes are optional. Weapons of any kind (say, for a ninja or Ninja Turtle, for instance) should stay at home this day :) If you choose for your child to wear a costume, please send it to school in a bag marked with your child's name. It would also be helpful for all boys and girls to have clothes on which allow for costumes to go over clothes to cut down on traffic in the bathroom for changing purposes. (Tank tops, undershirts, and leggings for girls...most boys' costumes slip on over regular clothing, which is a plus!)
